special events, or just lending a helping hand, the Marine Science
Center has a place for you.
Volunteers regularly assist Marine Science Center staff in a variety
of ways:
Tour guides
Volunteer tour guides educate the public and school
groups
Animal care
Volunteers assist staff at the sea turtle rehabilitation
hospital, Mary Keller Seabird Rehabilitation Center and more
Special events
Volunteers provide special event assistance and support,
such as the annual Turtle Day event
Aquarium maintenance
Volunteers are needed help maintain fish, coral aquaria
and other live animal exhibits
Adult education programs
Volunteers assist with adult education programs as guides
and educators
Greeters
Volunteers help welcome visitors to the Marine Science
Center and Mary Keller Seabird Rehabilitation Center
Summer camp
Volunteers assist with preparations and instruction for
our Summer Camp Program
