trips to the Marine Science Center
Due to popular demand, the Marine Science Center cannot accommodate additional field trips this school year. Field trip information for the school calendar year 2018-2019 will be posted at a later date.
To provide an innovative learning experience where visitors can discover, enjoy and appreciate the many wonders that embody the world of marine science in Volusia County.
Our school field trips offer six different programs that can accommodate kindergarten through 12th grade students and are coordinated with Next Generation Standards. Field trips are not offered June 1 through Aug. 14.
Our school field trip programs are as follows:
- Marine Science Center Exhibit Tour
- Eco Walk
- Raptors Live
- Marine Cephalopod Encounter/Squid Dissection
- Estuary Program/Seine Netting
- Plankton/Water Quality Lab
